Thought of the day.
Growing up is not hard. Time is passing anyways. What is hard? Watching everything change around you and having no control over it. Knowing that you are obligated to take part in the change. Knowing that things will never be as they once were.
Even a good, right decision can be hard at times. Even a happy present can be momentarily tainted by longings for a past that was also once a happy present. The thing to remember is that nostalgia and love for times gone by is just as important as cherishing the present and the blessings I have right here, right now.
